Story 1: Sayonara Demo Aishiteru – Yutaka’s version
Yutaka has decided to confess to Mariya, the girl who saved him during the entrance examination. Being an average girl, Mariya was bewildered by the confession of the charming Yutaka. Even though there are strains in their relationship, the distance between the two slowly shortens. However, Mariya has suddenly asked for a breakup!

Story 2: Sayonara Demo Aishiteru – Mariya’s version

Story 3: 1% No Kiseki

Story 4: Sumetaku, Amaku, Koi O Shite

Spoiler-Free Review:

My absolute favorite was the fourth one, Sumetaku, Amaku, Koi O Shite. Mainly because it was the most relatable one for me! I am that Ice Queen who is constantly misunderstood!! They get it! Finally, I read about someone who is like me!! YAAS! Go Babe!

Anyway, back to my review, this was pretty good. I really enjoyed it. I think this is the first manga that I’ve read that had a dual POV. So it was great how each story was presented, where each one revealed a critical piece of information and complimented each other. You can tell that it was planned out thoroughly because of the little drawings or comics that you find scattered between the chapters that kind of make sense as a whole and not just to one thing in particular.

Also the drama didn’t last too long in this one which was GREAT!

Now, I will leave you with a few snippets of this story.

  1. I love that this features more than one POV! I don’t see that a lot in romance manga, so I think it would be really interesting to see what’s going through each character’s head, especially during the more dramatic parts of the story. I think I’ll try it out soon, especially since it’s a heart breaker (I secretly love those). If you’re looking for a more upbeat series to read after this one, I definitely recommend checking out The Greatest Wolf of My Life. It’s a newer series that has three main characters, an average girl, a Kpop star and a famous webtoon artist. There’s not a lot of drama in this series either, and the comedy keeps things interesting. So far I really love how the story has been presented, and the characters are so interesting!

    1. I know, right! It’s sooo refreshing! You know a similar dual POV manga but slightly longer is Twin Roll. I reviewed both volumes recently. If ur interested in reading more of this type. Also, the guy is constantly getting misunderstood by the girl and his POV shows that he isn’t really cool and collected as how the girl sees him in her POV. Thnx for ur rec, I’m going to dive into it soon!

  2. I’ve been reading a lot of manga and I also order it for my library. I’m always looking for something new. This one sounds really interesting. I like the Food Wars manga and I just finished Assassination Classroom. I read a lot of different manga. Hope you have a great week!
