Welcome to the Shadowhunter Academy. Don’t you think this phrase is right up there with Welcome to Hogwarts! I mean, who wouldn’t want to be trained there? After living as a Mundane and a Vampire, Simon never thought he would become a Shadowhunter, but today he begins his training at Shadowhunter Academy.
“I wish I was close to Jace Herondale,” Julie sighted. “He is so gorgeous.”
“He is foxier than a fox fur in a fox hole on fox hunting day,” Beatriz agreed dreamily.”

If you haven’t seen this yet. Then SHAME on you! It would’ve alerted you of my severe Shadowhunter Fanatic status. How could you even read this post without knowing that much about me?!
Moving on from this rant.. I bought this entire collection on Black Friday!! All ten of them! Yaay! I’ve always wanted to read them but I never really had the time. And now seemed better since I have The Dark Artifices waiting for me. I figured, I needed something neutral to kind of get me back in the zone and remind me of everything. Especially since Simon is going through amnesia. So, perfect opportunity to remember everything along with him.
Simon wasn’t a character I was fully crazy about. He was a nice break from all the death and gore but thats all he really was to me. Which.. is why I mostly forgot about what happened to him. So it took me some time to kind of piece everything together. And this only proved why I really need to do this.
This tale wasn’t really that exciting…and I CAN’T BELIEVE I SAID THAT! But wait..OK… wait.!!! It wasn’t because it was bad per say, it was because well… it was boring. And I kind of get why. This was just an introduction, so nothing much happens. BUT I read somewhere that this is actually the most boring out of all the ten. So if thats the case, then WE have nothing to worry about!!
Until Next Time!
