Hitomi Kosaka, who wants to be a novelist, admires Takeru Murasaki, a genius writer and high-school student. She dreams that he would help her make her debut, and enters the same high school that he attends. However, being opposite of the image, Takeru is dirty-minded and sadistic in reality. What is worse, he says to her, “I’ll make love to you.” (From Shogakukan)

…..and the review wasn’t saved!! I’m sooo angry!! I remember writing a lot about this but now it’s all gone!! Has this ever happened to you!? UGH!!!!

From what I remember, although this follows the standard manga plot line about a novelist being asked for tutoring, see Sir Tigers Table, it was still interesting. It was funny, cute, exciting and not as dramatic as I was expecting. In a good way of course.

Hitomi Kosaka, the female lead, is ambitious and will stop at nothing to get to what she wants, being a successful novelist. Takeru Murasaki, the male lead, will stop at nothing to get what he wants, Hitomi Kosaka. He enjoys pushing her buttons and expanding her comfort zone. While she freaks out and scolds him. There is nothing here that isn’t consensual, which is a much needed breathe of fresh air!!

  1. I hate it when I write a review and then lose it because of technology not doing its job. But the manga sounds like a lot of fun – I like ambitious female characters, especially when in some kind of competition with another ambitious guys.

  2. Oh nouuu!! It has happened to me that I turn off the computer and forget I was middle of writing a post, but usually WP keeps copies and I’m able to get back what I wrote. I think I will check this manga 😀 yay! btw, is it possible to talk about webcomics in Manga Mondays?
