“It’s going to sound cheesy, but the fact is, I want a soul mate. Someone who not only loves me, but understands me on my deepest level,”
The smoking-hot one-night stand I was never supposed to see again?

Spoiler Free Review:
The roles have been reversed ladies and gentlemen. They have been reversed! Gone are the days of men being emotionally closed off and women being ‘clingy’ (I don’t agree with that term” in this book, The Soul Mate, it’s the opposite!
“I was going to find Bren.
And when I did?
I was sure as shit going to make her mine.”
Technically speaking, this book wasn’t as great as the other three. However, it was a story that I enjoyed immensely. It was refreshing to see that the guy, Mason, was crazy for her to the point that he was freaking her out by how much he was rushing her. Like he jumped straight to giving her a drawer and a place in his apartment after the 2nd or 3rd date!! 😂😂
What I found an issue here was the obvious lack of chemistry. It felt forced and unexciting. Bren was closed off, in an understandable way. However, when she was with Mason, there was hardly any description to show that she was into him beyond the obvious physical attraction. It just felt like she rolled with it. This is a case where he is way more into her than she is into him.
Read this for the reverse roles and hilarity.
Until Next Time!
