Top Ten Books I Disliked/Hated but Am Really Glad I Read:

  1. The Selection Series by Keira Cass
    • The first book was great, but the following two were horrible. I’m glad I read it though, because the The Heir & The Crown were amazing!!! It was worth the annoyance I had to go through from the first series.
  2. The Cuckoo’s Calling by JK Rowling
    • I got this due to it being written by JK Rowling. However, it wasn’t the great for me. I’m glad that I read it because it was one book in my TBR and it was something new for me.
  3. The Forty Rules Of Love by Elif Shafak
    • It was boring for me. However, I enjoyed learning something new about different cultures and backgrounds.
  4. Divergent by Veronica Roth
    • This was one of the worst books I’ve read so far. The plot is predictable and the characters are a little annoying. The good thing about this was it satisfied my curiosity and I will no longer have to wonder what if?
  5. Days Of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor
    • I am a huge fan of Daughter Of Smoke & Bone. Like a super crazy fan. However, the sequel was bad, and that was heartbreaking. I’m glad I got over it, because I’m sure the final book would be great!

  2. Ahhh.. I had the opposite thoughts about The Selection. I liked the original three books and really disliked the continuation story! lol.
I have Daughter of Smoke and Bone on my TBR!

      1. Yeah, I had a hard time liking Eadyln! I was so pumped but really disappointed. I couldn’t connect to her because she drove me kind of crazy, until almost the end. I think what I liked most about those books was Maxon. haha. I will say, the cover is gorgeous.

          1. See, I think that Eadlyn whined more than America. LOL. I felt like she fell into the spoiled princess stereotype. I liked America, because she never did anything she didn’t think was right, and always stayed true to herself. I think because she grew up outside of the palace, she was more aware of things that go on outside of the walls. I loved the original three so much more, for the plot points and because of Maxon.

            1. Lol! Really? That is not what I remember! I guess we both have our own interpretation of what whining is! Don’t you think thats interesting? ^^ Her being a spoiled princess was perfect. Since she grew up sheltered in a palace, how would she know whats happening? A part of her story was to grow out of that shell and learn what her people need, which she did at the end. The original three should’ve been a two in my opinion. 😀
