Simon, like the rest of the Academy, is stunned when a navy-skinned warlock baby is found on the Academy steps. They hand the child over to guest lecturer Magnus Bane, who has to bring a child home… temporarily, of course… to his man!
“Maybe one day it will be just you and me, my little blueberry,” Magnus said conversationally. “But not for a long, long time. We’ll take care of him, you and I. Won’t we?” Max Lightwood made a happy burbling sound that
Magnus took as agreement.”

Spoiler Free Review:
This was sweet. Not much of a surprise really. Since what happens here was ruined for me by twitter!
But still, it was adorable. Out of all the tales, this one is the cutest. It was somehow odd for me to see all the characters being a family. A good kind of odd. It was refreshing to have all of them relaxed, happy and being…well..a normal family.
It was a lovely break from all the drama that continues to happen in this universe. But it was too peaceful. I can’t help but feel slightly ominous for the future. Something bad is about to happen. Cassandra isn’t going to give us a happy family unless she means business in the future. And by business, we all know she means death. Something bad is going to happen. There’s only one tale left in this series, I’m going to be very careful.
Until Next Time!
