Review:
Kamala is an inspiration. I really enjoyed this. Especially the portrayal of a modern age muslim female living in a non-muslim country. I feel like it’s about time this kind of role model shows up into this otherwise lacking world.
Ms. Marvel was better the second time around. I’m not really sure what that means, but I’m guessing that’s a positive. This debut was brilliant. It introduced the characters, plot, stories and theme successfully. I wasn’t bored for a second.
The story was great. However, the art…not so much. I get that it’s a comic book, but maybe some more effort to be put on the style would be great. I did find it a little hasty at times. I’m also a teensy bit disappointed as I kept finding myself looking for something that wasn’t there. Like this was a close five stars…but not really.
This is my first comic book in the marvel world. I think it’s fair to say that it opened up my eyes to a whole new world of possibilities.
