Alright, A Man For The Night is based off of a real novel by Miranda Lee. And it is exciting. This is for all you mature readers out there. I’m honestly surprised they allowed this to be available on netgalley. I was so not expecting it.
Callum thankfully not your typical manga male protagonist. Is kind, smart, honest and straight forward. Tries to do the right thing.
Josie, not your typical female manga protagonist. She is employed, successful, honest about her needs, willing to put herself out there and is a gogetter. Also, doesn’t break the deal they have between each other over feelings… like finally! A female protagonist who isn’t stupid.
The plot: she hires an escort for her reunion. The brother shows up instead and has no idea what he is doing, ie: Callum. Successfully manages to pull it off but ends up attracted to her. Obviously.
What I admire the most about Josie is her openness. She goes and gives him her dream book and asks him to make all her fantasies come to life. Naturally, he obliges.
Which makes this manga really fun. It was a nice pass time. Just don’t read it where people can look into your screen.
My final verdict: NSFW
Until Next Time!
