The second challenge on my list, and the one I most desperately need more that anything would be: Netgalley and Edelweiss Reading Challenge!
I’m in a stitch…
I went crazy with requesting ARCs from netgalley and now here I am. With a huuuge never ending list of ARCs that I need to go through! Not only is this challenge something essential, needed or a must. It is Mandatory.
Netgalley and Edelweiss Reading Challenge! is hosted by BookishThingsAndMore which is where I’ll be linking up to.
The guidelines are:
- Any genre, release date, request date, length, etc. counts so long as it came from Edelweiss or Netgalley.
- There are levels:
- Bronze – 10 Books: Achieved on Jan 22!!
- Silver – 25 Books: Achieved on May 9!!
- Gold – 50 Books
- Platinum – 75 Books
- Diamond – 100 Books
That’s basically it! Anyway, I’ll be updating this post with my progress for this challenge! I’m looking forward to filling up this page.
I also will be adding any new ARC Requests that I have because I don’t want them accumulating to the following year.
Netgalley and Edelweiss Reading Challenge
-THE END-
Final Thoughts:
I’m actually super proud of myself for this. Honestly, thanks to BookishThingsAndMore for thinking of this awesome challenge. It was super helpful in getting me to review the ARCS on time. I’m just a little bit annoyed for being only 4 books short from Gold but oh well! Never push yourself too hard.

Ahhhh that happened to me all the time when I was using just NetGalley! Good luck! 🙂 This challenge is a really good idea.

I started requesting more physical ARCs 😂😂😂 but I’m just drowning in those now in stead!

What I DO find helps a little though, has been keeping a reading schedule. If I feel the urge to request books, I go look at the schedule…and if it’s too full I get stressed out and convince myself now to request more books hahaha. Here’s what mine looks like: http://flaviathebibliophile.com/reading-schedule/

OMG that’s amazing!! I looooove what u did!! I might borrow that idea from you. Although I tend to ignore what schedules tell me to do! Hahaha!

I’m getting a lot better at not requesting as much from NetGalley/Edelweiss. It’s easier on the TBR 😉 Good luck with this challenge.
