My Review:

A HUUUGE step up from my last unboxing. I absolutely loved this box. The amount of wonderful goodies that were in this crate made every penny worth it. Not to mention the fact that we received two books instead of just one, is a bonus! There were soo many wonderfully “book worlds” inspired gifts like the sleeping mask and the bathbomb. You can truly sense the dedication of Owlcrate to the book world.  I whole heartedly recommend this book box subscription. It also goes without saying that I renewed my subscription.  Look forward to those Unboxing reviews!

One of the best things in life, is receiving gifts. You never know what its going to be, and if you’re lucky enough it’ll be just perfect for you. However, what’s even better than that is getting a gift EVERY month while guaranteeing that you’re going to love it! Well this post is what that is all about! ❤

The Bookdrop Unboxing | July ’16

The Bookdrop has several types of subscriptions fit for everyone. I’ll be reviewing ‘The Jane'” subscription box which they describe it in their website as, “Our most popular box & perfect for book clubs! One paperback per month that we absolutely love that is either historical, contemporary, or literary fiction.” I was extremely excited for this because it was my first time trying any subscription box. So it goes without saying that I had a lot of expectations from it. Read on to see the goodies!

The Contents of the box include:

  • The book, Amy Snow, find this Book Review Here.
  • A signed card by the author: Tracy Rees
  • Booklet detailing July releases
  • Little paper summarizing why the book was chosen
  • Business Card

My review:

Overall, I was highly disappointed with the lack of imagination and thought put into the box. There was hardly anything in the box that made it unique or worth while. It was also annoying that most of the contents were just disposable ads and paper. It goes without saying that I immediately cancelled my subscription which I was hoping to make more permanent.  Alas, compared to all the other subscriptions boxes out there, I don’t really recommend this one if you’re into getting little gifts and items along with the book. However, the choice of the book was very good. you can find my review of the story here.

What I Liked:

  • The book choice: Amy Snow
  • Signed Card
  • Presentation

What I Didn’t Like:

  • Lack of Goodies
  • So many useless papers

Final Rating:

 ★★☆☆☆

I still stand by getting subscriptions boxes, but maybe not this one for now? :p
